Installing the JDBC Service Driver
The JDBC service driver requires the file mrOledb2.dll to retrieve data from UNICOM Intelligence applications. Install the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model before installing the driver.
1 Navigate to the folder that the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model installation package is in, and then to the \JDBC Driver\Server folder.
2 Double-click this file:
UNICOMIntelligenceJDBCServiceDriver.exe
The UNICOM Intelligence JDBC Driver Setup wizard starts.
3 Click Next.
The License Agreement page displays the software license agreement.
4 Click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.
5 The Service Configuration page displays the system port number that the JDBC service driver will use. Type a port number, and then click Next.
If port 19999 is in use by another application, you must change the default setting.
The Destination Folder page displays the path where the JDBC service driver will be installed.
6 You can change the path or keep the default location. Click Next to continue.
The Ready to Install the Program page displays the selected installation options.
7 Click Next to start the installation.
8 When the installation is complete, click Finish.
Installing the Client Service Driver
Navigate to the folder that the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model installation package is in, and then to the \JDBC Driver\Client folder.
▪PHjc.jar: The driver JAR file that is used directly in Java applications. The driver class is: com.spss.datacollection.jdbc.openaccess.OpenAccessDriver
▪dcjcinstall.package: The installation package for IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Package Manager. You can install the UNICOM Intelligence JDBC Driver as a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services component.
Installing the Client Service Driver for BIRT Report Designer for UNICOM Intelligence
1 Navigate to the folder that the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model installation package is in, and then to the \JDBC Driver\Client folder.
2 Double-click this file:
UNICOMIntelligenceJDBCClientServiceDriverforBIRTReportDesigner.exe
The Client Service Driver for BIRT Report Designer for UNICOM Intelligence Setup wizard starts.
3 Click Next to continue.
4 The License Agreement step displays the software license agreement. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.
5 The Destination Folder step displays the path where the client service driver will be installed. To install it in another directory, change this path. Click Next to continue.
6 Click Next on the Ready to Install the Program step to start the installation.
7 When the installation is complete, click Finish.
