Grouping questions in pages
You can group a number of consecutive questions in a page. The grouped questions all appear on a single web page in an online questionnaire; this is sometimes known as a multiask.
Grouping questions in a page does not affect paper questionnaires. To define a page in a paper questionnaire you need to insert page breaks before and after the questions you want to include on the page using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper. To create a new page
1 Click Insert > Routing Item > Page, or press Alt+I, R, P.
2 Create the questions you want to add to the page.
3 Select the questions using Shift+click or Ctrl+click.
4 Drag the questions in the Routings pane and drop them on top of the page icon.
5 The page has a generated name. Optionally, select the default name and change it to a more meaningful name: see Page names.
To group existing questions in a page
1 Use Shift+click to select all the questions you want to group.
2 Click Group > Group In > Page, or press Alt+G, G, P.
A new Page item appears in the Routings pane, and the questions move into the page.
3 The page has a generated name. Optionally, select the default name and change it: see Page names.
4 Optionally, enter a description of the page in the description field. This appears at the top of the page.
When questions are grouped into pages, the Read Only option for all questions is ignored. In order to make the questions in grouped pages read only, the editable element's ReadOnly Control Style should be used.
Page names
Names must be unique, cannot be empty and can contain only letters, numbers and the characters _ @ $ # .
The first character must be a letter or _.
Names cannot contain spaces.
