Selecting an interview to review
You can select interviews to review based on the sample or case data fields.
You can set which fields are displayed in Interviewing Options activity’s
Fields list (see
Interviewing Options).
1 To review only text questions (including “Other” answers in multiple-choice questions), select Open-ends only. If you do not select this option, you will be able to review all questions.
2 Select the field that you want to use to search for an interview.
3 In the edit box, type the value that you want to search for. Enclose the value in %...% to search for interviews that include comments (for example, %4964%).
You can manually add the % (percentage) symbols.
4 Click Next.
If an interview is found that matches the search criteria, the questions asked in that interview are listed on the left of the main screen. The questions that are listed are based on the metadata when the respondent took the interview. To display questions based on the latest metadata (for example, if you want to fill in responses for that metadata version), then before choosing the interview, click Advanced; in the Review Options dialog, clear Review using the metadata version for the interview, and then select the version.
If the interview found is not the one you want, accept the interview as described in
Ending a review, as this allows the interview to be reviewed again.
If no matching interview is found, an error message appears. You can change the search criteria, and then click Next to search again.
