Substitutions in Emails and Phone Participants introductory text
To make email invitations and reminders more personal and relevant, use substitutions. Substitutions are also used by phone interviewers to introduce themselves and invite respondents to their surveys.
To use substitutions, you add a field or property from the Substitutions list. The field or property appears in the message text enclosed in { } braces; when the email is sent or the introductory text is displayed, the field or property is replaced by the appropriate value, based on the current participant record or interviewer.
