Entering and editing the survey introduction
The Introduction page provides options for defining the introductory script that interviewers should read to each participant. The editor provides options for modifying a project’s introductory text via HTML or plain text, and provides a method for switching between available languages.
When an autodialer connects a telephone interviewer to a participant (or, for projects that do not use an autodialer, when the interviewer requests a number to call), interviewers are provided with an introductory text that they can read to the participant to explain the reason for the call. UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin comes with a default text that is suitable for all surveys, but you can define your own text that is more specific to the current project.

User:Description: The interviewer’s name.
Respondent:TimeBasedGreeting: Corresponds to the respondent’s time of day (morning, afternoon, or evening). The settings can be updated by using the DefaultTimeRanges property in DPM. The default settings are as follows:
morning displays when the respondent’s time is between 0:01 and 12:00.
afternoon displays when the respondent’s time is between 12:01 and 19:00.
evening displays when the respondent’s time is between 19:01 and 0:00.
If the introductory text for most or all of your company’s projects is always the same, you can replace the default text that UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin provides with your organization’s default text. See To change the default settings.

Notes
HTML text can be formatted via the provided HTML editor options, or you can enter the HTML tags. When manually entering HTML tags, do not use the <body> tag.
Standard JavaScript can be inserted directly into the introduction text.
When working with a project that was upgraded from a UNICOM Intelligence version earlier than version 7, the introduction text displays in plain text.
