Before you create an XUI file by using an XUI template, you must make sure that XUI templates have already been created. For information on how to create an XUI template, see Saving XUI file as template.
To create an XUI file by using an XUI template
1 Right-click the Views folder of your XUI project, and then click New > View.
The Create XUI File window is opened.
2 Complete the Create XUI File:
▪ In the Select the parent folder pane, select the Views folder in which you want to save the XUI file.
▪ In the File name field, enter a name for the XUI file.
▪ Select Create an xui file using templates, and then click Next.
The Template page is displayed.
3 From the Available Templates list of the Template page, select the template that you want to use, and then click Finish.
Note All the template files are saved in the global folder in relative plug-in folder. Therefore the user can share these template files among different projects.
