Business Process Domain is a retired definition type. It originated with TOGAF 8 and can be made available if you turn on “TOGAF Enterprise” in the Advanced Properties of the Property Configuration dialog. It is turned off by default when selecting the TOGAF framework.

Business Process Domain enables you to categorize the Business Architecture into domains, and specify for each the Applications in the Domain, as well as Assumptions, Constraints, and Architecture Building Blocks for the domain.

You can turn on this definition type by selecting Tools > Customize Method Support > Encyclopedia Configuration, clicking the Advanced button, selecting “TOGAF Enterprise”, and then reopening the encyclopedia.
