New Technology Report is a retired definition type for TOGAF. It was introduced with TOGAF 8 and allowed you to specify textually the reports (in the SA reporting system) that would provide details of new technologies.

The New Technology Report definition type can be turned on by selecting Tools > Customize Method Support > Encyclopedia Configuration, clicking the Advanced button, selecting “TOGAF Enterprise”, and then reopening the encyclopedia.

New Technology Report has been superseded by simply creating reports for New Technologies in the System Architect Reporting system, and/or creating report files (containing reports) for new technologies.
