A Request for Architecture Work typically starts the Enterprise Architecture or is used to add to it. It is typically delivered by the sponsoring organization to the architecture organization. The architecture organization uses this to build a Statement of Architecture.

The Request for Architecture Work definition provides a template for what you should fill in for an EA effort.

You can publish the information in the Request for Architecture Work definition to a Microsoft Word document, by running a Word Report with the TOGAF option selected.

To do so, select Reports > Word Reports > TOGAF 10, Statement of Architecture Work.
