Statement of Architecture Work
The Request for Architecture Work typically yields a Statement of Architecture Work – in which you record the intentions of what architecture work will provide.
Within the Statement of Architecture Work definition, you can document the estimated resources needed, and develop a roadmap and schedule for the proposed development. You can specify these items textually or link to them in the Reference Documents tab of the Statement of Architecture Work definition.
You can publish the information in the Statement of Architecture Work definition to a Microsoft Word document. You do this by running a Word Report provided in System Architect with the TOGAF option turned on.
To do so:
1 Select Reports > Word Reports > TOGAF > Statement of Architecture Work.
2 Click Yes or No to save any open diagrams in the message presented.
3 Microsoft Word will open automatically, and present a dialog that lists all Statement of Architecture Work definitions found in the encyclopedia. Select one or more and run the report.
