Solution Building Block
A Solution Building Block (SBB) is a package of functionality defined to provide a solution to meet the business needs across an organization. SBBs are used in the Enterprise Continuum method of evolving an Enterprise Architecture through an iterative set of Architecture Building Blocks (ABBs) and Solution Building Blocks (SBBs).

A Solution Building Block typically has the following characteristics:
Specifies what products and components will implement the functionality.
Specifies the implementation.
Specifies what business requirements are fulfilled by it.
Specifies actual vendor-based (or home grown) products.
Comprised of Physical Technology Components
A Solution Building Block is comprised of Physical Technology Components (which specify Vendor name and version, per TOGAF specification).
Relationships to other definitions
A Solution Building Block maps to the Architecture Building Blocks (ABBs) it satisfies.
You can also specify the Requirements that a Solution Building Block satisfies, within its definition.
