The purpose of the Cluster definition is to show the physical grouping of configuration items so that they appear as a single node or resource on the network. Clustering is most often associated with databases and servers. A Cluster is at the same level of abstraction as (physical) Technology Component. A Cluster can have deployed Cluster Instances.
