Physical Technology Component Type
The TOGAF specification states that a Physical Technology Component models a Version of a Technology Component. For example, Microsoft SQL Server 2022.
The Physical Technology Component Type is introduced as an extension to the TOGAF metamodel to enable you to capture Physical Technology Component types – in the example above, Microsoft SQL Server (no version specified).
You can link a Physical Technology Component Type to the Physical Technology Component that instantiates it, and to the Logical Technology Component it instantiates – through properties in its definition.
