System Architect Publisher build websites based on models and data in the encyclopedia repository. System Architect Publisher uses reports to generate websites. The reports that it uses are configurable so you can generate web pages to answer specific questions. For example, you can provide a high level overview or a more detailed representation of the model.

Use System Architect to design XML templates that use reports from System Architect’s reporting system to query information in a repository and publish it as a website of information. You can export the generated website to Microsoft Word and Excel, and link it to email content.

You can create an XML template to generate a website based on specific traversals of information of the repository to reflect the reports you have chosen. System Architect’s reporting system enables complex traversals and tree-like probes (or nested complex queries) of the information. In addition, you can control how the output links together. This enables you to create views of information in the final web output, particular to your different audiences. For example, you can create a view for corporate management formatted and presented in a way that makes it easy to answer key questions about the business. You can create other views of the same information, but with more detail, for IT people or database designers, and still other views that general employees or partners to the company might be interested in.

You specify how the website is depicted using stylesheets. System Architect Publisher includes some example stylesheets that you can use to change layout, colors, images, and logos.

You can design a template that System Architect Publisher will use to generate the website. You can decide which reports to run to gather information from encyclopedias to include in the website. You can modify sample reports for use with System Architect Publisher or you can create new reports for your purposes.
