Website parameters
Input folder for website
There are a number of files that must be present during the generation process for the website to be created. This includes images that are used for the website’s border graphics, and any JavaScripts that you want to specify for the website. This field enables you to choose what folder to put all of these utility files in; the default is:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\SA Publisher\CSS\XPStyle. Reference website Design Files
Logo file
The logo file optionally appears in the upper left-hand corner of a generated website. In this field you may change the name and location of the logo file to use (to include your own corporate logo). The default is:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\SA Publisher\CSS\PoweredBy.jpg.
Logo links to
You may specify a website URL to which the logo file links to.
Send comments to
Specify the email address that populates the To field of the email that is generated when you click the Feedback link at the top right of every page in the website. The email’s Subject field contains the name and type of the artifact presented on that page, and the email body contains the URL of the web page from which the email was generated. The email address of the person or group overseeing the enterprise architecture effort is usually placed in this field.
Site options
Delete XML files after creating page
System Architect Publisher uses reports from the reporting system to generate information from a repository to XML files, which are then interpreted through XSL stylesheets to form HTML pages in the generated website. After the website is created, the XML files serve no purpose. You may specify to have them automatically removed after the website is generated through this option. This is the recommended setting. If you do not delete them, then the output file is much larger than it normally would be.
Create browser tree
A browser tree is automatically generated on the left side of the output website. The browser tree enables the end user to navigate the website by Diagram and Definition type. The recommended setting is to leave this property selected.
Home page
To specify a blank home page
Select Blank home page.
The recommended setting is to leave Blank home page toggled off, so that a default home page is generated, with information specified in the XML template through System Architect Publisher.
To specify a report page as home page
Select Report page as home page.
If you have Specifying the Starting Reports, this option will be automatically selected, and the report that you have specified will be listed. (You may change the report that generates to the home page on the Specifying the Starting Reports tab.)
To specify a specific file as a home page
Select File to use as a home page.
If you select this option, any starting reports are reset to not be the home page.
You may also specify the particular page to use as the home page. The default is:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\SA Publisher\CSS\DefaultPageImages\main.htm
This is a good choice to use if you want a graphic front‑end to the website. The home page specified here does not get overwritten when System Architect Publisher generates a website. Using this choice you may generate your website with a pre-built front‑end.
By default, System Architect Publisher generates the website to the default.htm page, which includes two frames. The left frame (named browser) typically includes the navigational browser tree. The right frame (called main) includes the HTML page specified here (normally main.htm).
Use a web design program to open default.htm and view the frames, and to design the main.htm page.
