Back up the target encyclopedia prior to using this command.

The Extract command is used to select diagrams and/or data dictionary items from the current project encyclopedia and to merge them into another encyclopedia. The current encyclopedia is the default source encyclopedia.

You can produce an action item file from the contents of an Explorer View. Both Static and Dynamic views are supported, and you can choose whether subordinate definitions and child diagrams are to be included.
