When Focal Point^® is integrated with the products of the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM), you can preview Focal Point^® elements from CLM applications in a rich hover.

To preview the elements, Focal Point^® must be registered as an outbound friend in the CLM application configuration. In Focal Point^®, the CLM application is automatically identified as an inbound consumer. If you are a global administrator, you can edit the authentication settings for the CLM application in the inbound consumer configuration of Focal Point^®. You must also configure a preview view for the module of the linked elements.

Restriction In CLM applications, you can preview only the elements where the links are created to an instance of Focal Point^® version 6.5.1 or later. To preview elements that were linked in versions earlier than 6.5.1, you must remove the links to those elements and create new links.
