Project area associations are the relationships between a project area in a Rational solution for CLM application and a workspace in Focal Point®. Project area associations are the prerequisites to create links from resources in Rational solution for CLM application to the resources in Focal Point® using the delegated resource selection and creation dialog boxes provided by Focal Point®.
Before you begin
▪ You must have administrator credentials for the Rational solution for CLM application. In this procedure, we have considered the Requirements Management application as the application from where we are creating the project area association with a Focal Point® workspace.
▪ You must be an authenticated user of the application registered as Friend with your application. In this procedure, Focal Point® is the registered Friend application.
