Configuring workspace association in views
You can configure views to allow or restrict access to the available workspace associations. The workspace associations that are allowed in the view are available for the selection. The view displays the selected artifact of the Friend application.
To allow or restrict workspace associations for a view
1 Log in to Focal Point as a workspace administrator.
2 Click the Settings icon Settings icon, and then, from the Configure group, click Views. Select the view.
3 Ensure that the selected view is included in the Add, Display or Visualize menus.
4 In the View Definition section, click the Edit View Definition icon.
The window to define the view rule is displayed.
5 Define the view rule and click Next.
The window to define the access level for the attributes is displayed.
6 Define the access level for the attributes and click Next.
The window to define the view settings is displayed.
7 Define the Administration Settings and Default Settings for the view.

8 In the Workspace Service Provider association section, select Allow or Restrict for each of the workspace association. To select Allow or Restrict for all of the workspace associations, click the arrow icons.
9 Click Finish.
Results
The view displays the selected artifact of the Friend application.
