Common components folder

Files that are common components for UNICOM Systems, Inc. applications are installed in subfolders of:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\

Most of these subfolders contain common components for the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model. Subfolders associated with UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer are as follows:

This folder contains assemblies used by the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin activities.

This folder is mainly used by UNICOM Intelligence Professional, but the StandardTexts.mdd file contains the standard texts used for reporting errors in questionnaire scripts. See Standard error messages for more information.

This folder contains files to do with concurrent licensing. Key files are:

The program you run to activate your site's concurrent licenses.

Contains the name of the server that controls concurrent licensing, and the version numbers of the applications that have this type of licensing.

Contains files related to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer activities. These include:

The command-line activation program.

The program that converts pre-version 2.3 activation initialization files into the Activate Documents used by version 2.3 and later.

The program for site-to-site activation.

Contains files related to project management. These include:

The executable for the mrDPMServer3 service that runs on Interviewing Service computers. This service makes the project management objects available. For more information, see Distributed Property Management (DPM).

The user administration service that controls access to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer and its activities and components. For more information, see Security components.

Contains initialization information for the Project Management programs. This file is not used directly from any of the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer components. Instead, it is used by pmsetup.exe to initialize the ProjectMgmt table with basic information.

Do not edit this file without the help of an UNICOM Systems, Inc. support representative.

Initializes the SQL Server ProjectMgmt table in the mrInterviewData database.
