Exporting charts using IBM SPSS Visualization custom chart types
When you export charts to HTML with IBM SPSS Visualization, you can optionally export the charts via a user-defined, manually created custom chart template. The custom chart template can define the chart type, the placement of the chart legend, the colors used, and so on. The template can then be selected when exporting charts using the UNICOM Intelligence Reporter HTML Export component.
The Visualization Markup Language (ViZml) is an XML specification that defines a graph by specifying the components that make up a graph, such as frames, titles, axes, and graphic elements (bars, points, and so on). The IBM SPSS Visualization charting engine uses ViZml grammar to define the chart element information. The HTML Export component employs the IBM SPSS Visualization charting engine for generating charts when a custom chart template is selected.
See “Introduction to ViZml” for more information regarding ViZml.
