Replication with Infosphere CDC : Overview of IBM InfoSphere CDC replication between solidDB® servers : Configurations : Using IBM InfoSphere CDC replication with High Availability (HotStandby)

Using IBM InfoSphere CDC replication with High Availability (HotStandby)
IBM InfoSphere CDC replication can be used with the High Availability (HA or HotStandby) functionality of the solidDB® server.
Before using IBM InfoSphere CDC replication with HotStandby, consider the following:
When creating a new IBM InfoSphere CDC for solidDB® instance, you need to define the host address and port number for the primary and secondary solidDB® servers.
Refer to the solidDB® High Availability User Guide for instructions on how to configure the HotStandby setup.
Plan and implement how failure scenarios are handled in your environment. For more information, see IBM InfoSphere CDC replication failure scenarios and the solidDB® High Availability User Guide.
