PRINT subcommand
Three subcommands are used within the SETTING command to specify the defaults for directing the output of the report:
SETTING { DISPLAY [ YES | NO ]
PRINT [ YES | NO ]
ASCIIFILE file-name }
Note For details on the subcommands above, see DISPLAY subcommand and ASCIIFILE subcommand.
The PRINT subcommand is followed by either yes (default) or no. This causes a formatted report to be printed to the currently selected output device. A report cannot be printed to a device other than what is currently selected in Microsoft Windows.
Note The PRINT subcommand can only be placed in a report in text mode. For more information, see Edit <report name> – Text Mode dialog. This function is not supported by the Report Editor.
