Report Formats
The available report formats in the workspace. You can choose one or both of the formats: Rich Text Format (RTF) and Portable Digital Format (PDF).
Workspace Maintenance
To enable or disable the workspace maintenance. When the workspace is under maintenance, only the administrator who started the maintenance can access the workspace. When the user initiates a create, delete, export, or import action for the workspace, the project goes to maintenance mode automatically. Only one maintenance type can be started at a time for the workspace. Before starting the maintenance, the workspace administrator can send a broadcast message, and inform other workspace users when a workspace is scheduled for maintenance. When the server is started, the workspace maintenance setting is unlocked.
Enable workspace configuration history log
To maintain a record, in the workspace configuration history log, of all the changes to the workspace configuration. By default, this option is enabled for a workspace configuration.
Enable Richtext Table formatting in single element
Allows the creation, modification and copy & paste of table information into a rich text editor. (While doing copy & paste of tables, not all styles would be retained).
Enable speech recognition
Enables browser-based speech recognition to work with the Focal Point® user interface. Currently, speech recognition is supported in only the element edit and element add forms.
Richtext Editor Enter Mode
Defines the behavior of the "Enter" key in the rich text editor. The default behavior is to insert a new paragraph.
Use only maximal views for searching
If this option is selected, the user only sees the first maximal view from each module while doing the advanced search. For information about maximal views, see View attributes.
View to be used for member lookup
While sending emails and mentioning other users in a text field, the default behavior is to show the list of members from the first member view a user has access to. This behavior can be changed by selecting a member view that will be used by all users.
Scope of tag keywords
It is possible to have more than one Tag attribute in a workspace. By default, a tag created in a Tag attribute cannot be used in another Tag attribute. This can be changed by selecting the scope of the keywords as “Workspace”. In that case, a tag created in one Tag attribute will be listed in the drop down, while editing another Tag attribute defined anywhere in the same workspace.
Follow Link
Use this property to control how links are opened when clicked. This setting is only applicable to links shown in tree view and single element view. When the option User Defined is selected, the behavior is controlled by the same setting in the user preferences.
Enable Capacity Plan
Enables the capacity planning feature in Focal Point®.
Enable Custom Attribute Layout
Enables the setting up of custom attribute layouts in Focal Point®.
Workspace Association with the Service Provider
To add an OSLC service provider association at a workspace level. An administrator can create workspace associations between the selected workspace in Focal Point® and the artifact container of a Friend application. Click Add to add an association by selecting the Friend application, the association link type, the service provider domain (Friends catalog), and the artifact container.
