Page numbers
Page numbers help interviewers find the next question to ask, and they help respondents find the next question to answer when using Go To cross references. You can add page numbers to the header or footer of the document or template. You can use any of the Word page number formats and positions.
The page field in Word is not always updated between loading a questionnaire and printing it. This is most noticeable when you are using page numbering such as “Page 1 of 12”, because the total number of pages might change when you apply Looks.
